The Women’s Circle is a strong community of donors dedicated to the success of Team USA’s women athletes. Female athletes face challenges simply not faced by their male counterparts. The Women’s Circle is dedicated to helping answer these challenges through areas such as support for new and future parents, mental health and career journeys. With women comprising over 50% of Team USA, the need is great and the opportunity even greater!

Does the U.S. government fund the U.S. Olympic Team?
No, the federal government does not fund Team USA’s Olympians. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee receives no federal funding for Olympic athletes or programs.

Team USA is proudly fan-funded! Our athletes are generously supported by sponsors and donors who help them make their dreams a reality.

Is Team USA a nonprofit?
Yes. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, often known as “The Team Behind Team USA” is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Additionally, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was developed to specifically support Team USA athletes and help them achieve sustained competitive excellence and well-being through the generous support of the American public through the Team USA Fund.
