No, the federal government does not fund Team USA’s Olympians. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee receives no federal funding for Olympic athletes or programs.

Additionally, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was developed to specifically support Team USA athletes and help them achieve sustained competitive excellence and well-being through the generous support of the American public through the Team USA Fund.
