No, the federal government does not fund Team USA’s Olympians. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee receives no federal funding for Olympic athletes or programs.

United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Is Team USA a nonprofit?
Yes. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, often known as “The Team Behind Team USA” is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Additionally, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was developed to specifically support Team USA athletes and help them achieve sustained competitive excellence and well-being through the generous support of the American public through the Team USA Fund.

Can I use this form to make a donation toward my multi-year gift commitment to the USOPF?
We appreciate your generous multi-year gift commitment signed with the USOPF! Please visit our USOPF Gift Payment Portal (go.teamusa.org/installment) to fulfill your installment or email stewardship@usopc.org for more information on how to facilitate a payment toward your agreement.

How do I become a Team USA Member?
Fans that support the Team USA Fund with a donation of $25 or more, automatically become Team USA Members!
